Oregon Shakespeare Festival 90th Anniversary 2025 and here at Abigail’s Bed and Breakfast Inn we have partnered once again with the OSF Theatre to offer a DISCOUNT on ticket purchases when you book a stay here at the Inn this year. The 90th anniversary season of OSF begins the 7th March, 2025 and opens with Julius Caesar, The Importance of Being Earnest and August Wilson’s Jitney. The Oregon Cabaret Theatre has a great line up of Cabaret Shows / Theatre for you to choose from in 2025 and the season has already started with the show ” A Gentleman’s Guide – a tale of love and murder”. This show runs through until the 30th March, 2025 throughout the Spring month which is a beautiful time to visit Ashland, Oregon. It is also

a month to welcome our local Oregon Chocolate Festival 2025 to town.

The “new kid on the block”  showcasing OSF Actors old and new, plays thoughtful and enlightening is the Rogue Valley Theatre Company. Housed in the vineyards of Grizzly Peak Winery this small Theatre packs a powerful punch when it comes to performances. The season of 2025 opens on March, 12th with “Doubt: A Parable” a gripping drama that challenges certainty and ignites moral reflection.

Ashland, Oregon has had a changing landscape when it comes to shopping and dining downtown over the past five years. Loved restaurants and retail shops have gone, however as always new ones have replaced them. Winery news: Eliana Wines one of our small local wineries have opened in a stunning new location just a short drive away from Abigail’s Bed and Breakfast Inn. Previously housed in a small local vineyard in an inconspicuous red shed, Brian and Carien

purchased a beautiful new home in Medford, Oregon with a great views, some land and an old falling down barn. Over the past two years Brian has worked diligently to plant Chenin and Cab. Franc on virgin fields and has converted the old scrappy barn plank by plank into a wonderful tasting room. The new tasting room showcases not only his Zimbabwean heritage, Carien’s South African heritage and also their newly combined 20 year American heritage. If you want to see what hard work, perseverance and strength of will can do – go and drink some amazing wines with Brian and Carien at Eliana Winery now newly located on 4360 E Barnett Road, Medford Oregon.

Our wineries here in Southern Oregon are producing some incredible wines (still $$ within reason) from Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux Blends, some Italian, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Rose and many more. It’s time to come to Ashland, Oregon and time to discover this amazing Rogue Valley Wine Region housed in Southern Oregon. Our wines are ripe for the tasting and this region is still an untapped resource for wine lovers.

This is our eleventh year of running this local Bed and Breakfast Inn as well as our Private Two Bedroom Self Catering Vacation Cottage. Not many of Innkeepers left from 2014 when we purchased our Inn. Down from twenty one to just six hanger-on’s! From that perspective we are hospitality strong.
